First and foremost, best wishes in these difficult times. As most of you who have purchased from me know, Camptown Hats is a one man shop and for this one man, the last year and a half has been trying to say the least. I also know many of you have faced trials of your own during this time. So, in light of the economy, Camptown Hats has kept its operations quiet for new orders for over a year. I think it is soon going to be time to change that status. For many reasons, some obvious and some not, I believe that it is time to bring a new life to Camptown Hats with a new approach to ordering and product pricing. It will be an experimental time, but I think it will work out well for customers and for Camptown in the long run. The proposed ordering system will be based upon reaching a quantity ordered quota using an order list. Additionally, I am working to restructure my pricing to make the Camptown Hat even more competitively priced against other offerings. Before I begin this new task, however, I ask that anyone with outstanding orders, please contact me so we can make arrangements to satisfy each of you. For a variety of reasons, I do not have some of my prior order records. I do not ever want to leave a customer behind because of a technical problem, so if you ordered from me, please submit an email to me at this address. I know that despite my best efforts that I have not been as on top of my business as I wanted to be. It will remain a part time enterprise for me, but I hope to manage it better going forward. That is not an excuse, but it is true. I want to be there for each of you who helped me launch this company as we try hard to reboot and grow. As of this moment, I do not have a proposed start date, but I am looking toward Halloween or a little later. Please check the forums and the website for future information in the months to come.
